Nikon D100 actuation / "shot" count

How do I find the number of shots or shutter actuations that my D100
has taken?

If its anything like my d50 look at the number after the dsc_#### in one of the jpegs.

Thank you Dan, but I have the camera set to reset that counter after each time I clear the memory card.

Download Opanda iExif software, then drag a jpeg
into it to see all of the exif data, including the total number of
shutter clicks on your camera. The software doesn't work with NEF
files.

Get Opanda, since this: "If its anything like my
d50 look at the number after the dsc_#### in one of the jpegs." - is
not correct. The camera could have more than 9999 pictures, or the
number counting picture could have been reset.
The internal count of shutter actuations cannot be altered.

Opanda does not support the D100. Per Opanda
online support, "IExif can read out the total number of shutter release
only for Nikon D70/D70s, D50, D2X, D2H and later...The camera actuation
number is in the field of Maker Notes."
I have a D100 and I was curious about the shutter cycles too. Maybe the
D100 does not log shutter cycles, at least in the EXIF data. Any other
thoughts or solutions?
